With multi-platinum albums and anthemic songs Nirvana pioneered the Alternative sound and many say they invented Grunge music. But with this success came misfortune - the media raised frontman Kurt giving him the position of spokesman for a generation, a role he was not most comfortable with. Nirvana’s short run ended with Cobain’s tragic death in 1994, but the band's popularity has only increased in the years that followed.
The Nirvana Collector’s Box contains two DVDs which tell the incredible story of Nirvana and Kurt in its entirety via unseen performance and interview footage; interviews with close friends, family members, music biz colleagues, former workmates and many close collaborators who have known the band through the years; numerous location shoots; Kurt’s unseen artwork; unpublished photographs and a multitude of other features. DVD ‘extras’ include digital interactive discography, interactive quiz and ‘did you know’ section.
