A rare recording of a live Tyrannosaurus Rex show, performed at the Lyceum ballroom in the Strand during the winter of 1969 as part of ‘John Peel’s Midnight Court’ – a series of concerts hosted by Peel and featuring his favourite bands of the time. Licensed for release exclusively by Chrome Dreams from the Marc Bolan Estate and with some excellent sleeve notes written by Peel himself, this beautifully packaged set also comes with a limited edition bonus disc featuring an obscure interview recorded in Chicago the same year during Marc Bolan’s first US trip.
